Our Connection

The three of us live in rural northeast Iowa...but in different parts of the same county. Our addresses are all different towns; however, our kids all attend the same school district.

Between us we have 10 kids. (What were we thinking?)

All 3 of our husbands farm in some capacity.

We never see each other, except in passing when picking up our children or at school things.

We always talk about getting our kids together to destroy one of our homes while we drink, but it never happens.  Really we are too exhausted for that.

The most important thing we have in common is that we are just trying to survive raising our children while our husbands make a living. And we do that with a lot of sarcasm (and a fair amount of alcohol).
